So this past week, my dad flew in and stayed with us until him and my mom left together on the 13th. Mommy's birthday was on Saturday, the 8th. I'm so thankful she was here and I'm pretty sure she was happy to spend her day with her husband and her new grandson ;)
When dad got here, Daniel was out of town for work. So Kaladin and I accompanied Mom to the airport to pick up Daddy/Lolo. (That's Filipino for Grandfather)
Daddy was speechless when he held Kaladin for the first time. I don't know if Dad is going to appreciate this or not, but he had the sweetest tears in his eyes! He was so SO happy!! As was I!

And in typical baby-fashion, Kaladin was asleep the whole time.
It was around lunch time when Dad arrived so I took them to a little family-run breakfast place in town that was unfortunately not very good haha! Oops on my part :/
But the newly united couple sure did look cute!
The next day, the weather was beautiful and I showed Mom and Dad around town just a little bit and Kaladin did great in the car!
We played a board game and I could NOT put Kaladin down - I love holding him!!!!
He is so precious! Especially when he sleeps! Yes, I'm snowed and completely head-over-heels in love with him already!! ;)
And sometimes, he looks like he is saluting. Ha!
Sunday, Daniel returned home!
We all went to dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant!!
Clearly, Daniel missed his little boy. He sang him to sleep that night!! My heart melts every time...
When I was 8 years old, I began taking piano lessons from Dr. Susan Matteson. She is an amazing pianist and wonderful family friend! She now lives a few hours away from us and met up with us for lunch. It was so great to see her again and I'm so glad she got to see my Mom during her visit, and she got to meet Kaladin! :)
This week, it was time to harvest tomatoes again and this is only a fraction of what we got!
I don't remember what day of the week this was, but I laid Kaladin in his pack 'n play, and he immediately rolled to his side...I couldn't believe it!
Kaladin's crying has not intensified and it is still just so pitiful. He is a great napper! We have remained to keep his days flexible and not put him on a very strict sleep/eat/wake schedule.
He is eating with no difficulties or challenges and he is certainly gaining weight! Little chunkster.
Daniel and I continue to be amazed at how awesome it is to have this little man in our lives. He is a joy. We also wonder why it is so easy so far! God has a sense of humor ;) give us an easy first baby so that we will have another.. then it won't be easy anymore! ;P
Now for the weekly baby-spam ;)
On the 13th, unfortunately, Mommy and Daddy had to go back to reality... Mom stayed for a month and Dad was here for a week! It just was not long enough :(
Sweet kisses for Baba and Lolo as they depart for Atlanta.
Thank you, Mommy and Daddy, for visiting us! The help you provided to us during this time was a blessing beyond anything we could have ever asked for. Thank you, Auntie Laurie for sending my Daddy and making it possible for him to meet Kaladin!! Thank you to all of our friends and family for the overwhelming love and support you all have shown us thus far. We are completely in love with baby Kaladin and we cannot wait to share him with you all soon!
We also received a TON of food from our church and from a great group of ladies on post! Thank you for giving us the sweet time to focus on our family instead of worrying about food and cooking and grocery shopping.
You all are such kind hearts and we count it all joy that you are in our lives!
