Kaladin's third week of life!

We have all been soaking up cuddles with this sweet little boy! :)

And sometimes he makes the cutest little noises in his sleep. And he smiles! Oh, the sleepy smiles. <3

I took my Mom to see Salado, TX. My favorite little town in the area :) Kaladin did so well in the car!! The deer were everywhere. So we snapped a few pics.

Remember these pics??

Mom wanted to get out and take a few pics closer to the river where those pics were taken :)

On our way home, we took back roads (some residential) and did some sight-seeing - one of our favorites to do together!

We got his newborn pictures taken. And he was SO fussy!! For the first time ever, and I did NOT know what to do. He is not fussy any other time so I was at a serious loss. :(

Contrary to popular belief, and contrary to what everyone told us from the time we announced we were pregnant, we still have time for us!!

Daniel and I attended a Reformation Day party with some Chaplain's and their families. Was a lot of fun and it was good to get out of the house. We even enjoyed a brief cigar with the Chaplains. They played a game for the kids called "Pin the forked tongue on the Pope" lol!!

They also had a lot of yummy German food :)

A friend of mine made this adorable hat 'n beard for Kaladin. It is still a little too big for his 3-week-old self but we tried.

So thankful for technology!! FaceTimed with the Potter's

Toblakai is doing really good coexisting with our new little human. The baby talk kind of wigs him out sometimes because he is used to alerting to us speaking to him, and only him, in that voice! :/ He is beginning to lay next to the wiggly baby without trying to lick him.

A week ago, he wouldn't let a part of himself touch Kaladin without moving away. I think we're past that now...

Kaladin is holding his head up very well and pretty steady for the most part.

Daily tummy time has been so beneficial and he still likes it. For about 5-7 minutes and then he just makes fussy noises as if to say, "I'm not getting anywhere; I'm frustrated and done with this!" Haha. Took a video to send to Daniel at work which is why you can hear me saying "We miss you!" :)

My mom and I were constantly talking to him and asking for a smile. He gave us SO many this week! :)

And he gave my mommy the cutest little sigh after a kiss from her!

I wanted to make a couple shirts for my Dad before he arrived in town using my awesome Silhouette machine so my mom and I worked on the shirts while Kaladin napped. Toblakai didn't like the noise the machine was making...

These are the shirts :) Very proud of them! Thankful to have had my mom to help.

Kaladin is still sleeping well and he continues to do fine with the swaddling.

I finally got my wedding rings back on this week!! Feels so great!

Mommy took some cute pictures of Kaladin sleeping throughout the week. Results:

 LOL!!

His baby skin is flaking off nicely, just as God intended :) to reveal the perfectly soft baby skin we cannot wait to caress!

Last but not least, got a picture of his little "Angel's Kiss"
